What is the goal of the Employee Annual Fund?
The goal is to create a culture of philanthropy among Baptist Health employees, not to raise a specific monetary amount. Your donation, at whatever level you are comfortable giving, will make an impact and be greatly appreciated.

Can I make a donation by check?
Yes.  Please make the check payable to Baptist Health Foundation and mail it to 1575 San Ignacio Avenue, Suite 406, Miami, FL 33146.

What if the fund I want my donation to go to is not listed in the drop-down screen?
If you would like to make a donation to an existing project fund that is not listed on the employee self-service donation page, please send an e-mail to PhilanthropistClub@BaptistHealth.net specifying which fund you would like to donate to.

I have made a gift to the Sunshine Fund within the past 12 months directly to Pastoral Care (not through Baptist Health Foundation).  Will I receive a thank-you packet and a Employee Annual Fund gold badge clip?
Yes.  If you have made a donation to the Sunshine Fund or any fund through the Baptist Health Foundation within the past 12 months, you will receive a thank-you packet that includes a certificate of appreciation, a manifesto card and a special-edition gold badge clip to hold your ID badge.  These packets are currently being distributed by the Foundation at each respective entity.  Details on distribution will be forthcoming.

If I made a donation to the Employee Annual Fund last year and wish to renew my gift, what are my next steps?
If you initially made a one‐time donation, log in to Employee Self Service (ESS) and click on the Philanthropist Club tab on the left sidebar. Choose a donation method – payroll deduction, paid time off (PTO) or credit card – and amount. Then, select a fund to which you would like to contribute and click Submit. If your initial gift was set up as a ‘recurring donation’, you do not need to take any further action.

Can I use PTO or Payroll Deduct to make donations to Baptist Health Foundation?
Yes.  Donations can be made through Employee Self-Service using PTO, Payroll Deduct and credit card.

Can I make a donation any time of the year?
Yes.  Donations to Baptist Health Foundation can be made any time and as often as you like.

Is my donation tax deductible and will I get a receipt?
Your donation is tax deductible.  If you make your donation online through Employee Self-Service, you will immediately receive an e-mail acknowledging your gift.  In addition, a Baptist Health Foundation gift/pledge history for gifts made through the Employee Self-Service will be provided on the lower left hand side of the Employee Annual Fund page.

If I know someone who is not an employee who would like to make a donation to Baptist Health Foundation, what should I do?
Please direct the person to BaptistHealth.net and click on Giving in the upper right corner.

Is there a minimum donation amount?
The minimum donation amount is $1.  All donations are important and make an impact on Baptist Health, its employees and the care that is provided to the community.

What is the social media badge and how can I use it?
The social media badge allows you to show your friends on Facebook your commitment to the Baptist Health community.  After making your gift to the Employee Annual Fund, you will receive the social media badge as an attachment in your membership confirmation email. It can be used on Facebook in two ways:

1. Upload the social media badge picture into a Facebook post.
2. Upload the social media badge picture as your default image.
